The North Coast Stormwater Coalition was formed in 2004. It is a partnership between local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community members. The main objectives of the NCSC are to provide a forum to discuss local stormwater pollution prevention efforts, potential public education and outreach workshops and possible funding opportunities. Below are the guidelines for membership. If you, your company or organization are interested in becoming a member, contact Miles Slattery [mslattery@ci.eureka.ca.gov or (707)441-4184].
The goal of the North Coast Stormwater Coalition is to reduce stormwater pollution in local streams, rivers, Humboldt Bay and the ocean through public education and outreach, coordinating pollution prevention efforts and implementing pollution control measures.
